Your Hosts
We are two nutritionists and the creators of The Gut Health Project—an online community and education platform all about helping you to improve your gut health.
Sean Robertson
Metabolic Nutritionist, epigenetic coach, and all-around health guru.

Sean has dedicated his career to transforming the way people approach health. He has spent the last nine years running a hugely successful course centred around sleep science, chronobiology, gut health, and nutrition. Known for his relatable style and "big picture" approach, Sean has helped countless individuals shift their habits and reclaim their well-being.
During my university years, I became increasingly frustrated with the contradictions and limitations of traditional and outdated health approaches. While the courses focused heavily on calories and flawed health science logic, I felt the bigger picture was being overlooked.

After graduating, I dove into self-directed learning, exploring cutting-edge research and real-world practices that connected the dots between diet, sleep, mental well-being, and the gut microbiome. This journey not only expanded my expertise but also deepened my conviction that true health is holistic.
I believe that small, smart, sustainable changes can spark profound transformations and I'm driven to challenge outdated norms in the health industry. The core belief; understanding of health is key to self management long-term and longevity in wellbeing.

Having personally struggled with gut problems, I know first-hand how frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive navigating your health can be.

After failing to find help through standard healthcare, I started doing my own research to uncover the cause of my gut symptoms. Through learning about nutrition and how to support my gut health, I was able to get my body back on track.
My own experience sparked a passion for gut health and nutrition, and I wanted to learn more so I could help others. So, I decided to retrain as a nutritionist and specialise in gut health.

Fast-forward 7 years, I've had the privilege of helping people all over the world to understand what drives their gut problems and to heal from their chronic symptoms through nutrition and functional medicine. I'm excited to continue this journey with Sean and support you on your gut health project!
